I am Suman Judge, the Director and Founder of German Language Classes (GLC), Bhopal. My father is a native German and my mother, an Indian. After having spent 22 years of my life in Germany, which includes my Schooling and higher education till Masters Degree, wherein my complete education was entirely imparted in German Language. My upbringing and my life-hood in Germany have given me a strong command over the German language. For over 17 years, I have now been teaching German comprehensively at German Language Classes ®; my Institute in India.
Since 2007, I have taught more than 9000 students at German Language Classes, making it the only Institute in Central India to have produced 100% results since 2007 in the International Certification Examinations of “Goethe-Institute Max Müller Bhavan.” It is a privilege for me to mention that DD (Doordarshan Madhya Pradesh), the National TV Broadcaster of India, as a part of their documentary “Tejasvini”- a tribute to women empowerment, entitled me a feature episode on their programme. It showcased how a women came to India without any support, and singlehandedly set up an incredibly successful German Language Institute known across the nation.”
Almost all of my students are either working, living or studying in Germany. Here is why:
- I prepare my students for the International Certification Examinations of Goethe-Institute Max Mueller Bhavan, which has been the official language centre in India of the Government of Germany for more than a century.
- I also guide students with their applications in German universities.
Besides my teaching at German Language Classes, here are some of my other engagements pertaining to instruction and training in the German language:
- I was the Visiting German Language Faculty at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Bhopal.
- I was the Visiting German Language Faculty at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM) since 2011. (Under the Student Exchange Programme.)
- I was the Visiting German Language Faculty at the Indian institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal in 2013.
- I have conducted special courses on the German language at many vocational and professional institutions including Air Hostess Academy (AHA) Bhopal, Flying Cats Air Hostess Training Institute (FCAHTI) Bhopal, Rai Business School (RBS), and Mumbai School of Business (MSB) Bhopal.
TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETER EXPERIENCE
- Worked as a Technical German Translator and Interpreter leading a team of 11 German language specialists in the reputed German company, Siemens GmbH, Germany in collaboration with BHEL, Bhopal in 2011-2013.
- I have conducted training workshops in the German language for the employees of several well-known Indian companies.
- I have carried out translations from German to English, and vice versa, for corporate and individual clients.
- In addition, I have also held leadership and ownership positions in translational management activities, and participated in interactive development relationships with both new and established German clients.
